On August 22, 2026, we gathered for our annual signature conference, Hold The Line ’26—a gathering that marked nearly a year of intentionally raising, challenging, and transforming men to become better versions of themselves and make a greater impact in their families and communities.

We opened with Luke 19:1–5, the story of Zacchaeus. When Jesus encountered him, He said, “Make haste, and come down.” There was urgency in those words. When the right moment comes, we must be prepared to recognize it and move.

THE MESSAGE: THE ADVANTAGE OF DIVINE SPEED

Our central message was drawn from Elijah in 1 Kings 18:46:

“And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel.”

Elijah outran Ahab's chariot—not simply because of his physical ability, but because the hand of the Lord was upon him.

That is the picture of divine speed: accelerated progress through the help of God.

But divine speed does not eliminate responsibility. Elijah still had to run. We must prepare, develop ourselves, gain knowledge, build capacity, and do the work while trusting God for the acceleration.

WISDOM, FAVOR & PRAYER

We also reflected on Esther, whose story reminds us that favor meets preparation.

Before Esther appeared before the king, she went through twelve months of preparation, including six months with oil of myrrh and six months with perfumes and other preparations (Esther 2:12). When her moment came, Scripture says:

“And Esther obtained favour in the sight of all them that looked upon her.”— Esther 2:15

Her favor was extraordinary, but she was also prepared.

This became a powerful reminder that preparation positions us, favor opens doors, and prayer invites the hand of God into our efforts.

BROTHERHOOD & FELLOWSHIP

The conference was also about connection. During lunch and fellowship, the men had an opportunity to network, share their stories, and understand why so many continue to return to Hold The Line gatherings.

For some, being present required real sacrifice. Some men changed or canceled flights just to make it to the conference.

That tells us something: this is more than an event. The brotherhood, growth, accountability, and conversations matter.

THE FIELD: PRESSURE BUILDS CAPACITY

We also took the lessons into the field through an intensive team-based tactical exercise that challenged communication, teamwork, strategy, decision-making, and resilience under pressure.

The intensity was intentional.

Some men were pushed outside their comfort zones to experience pressure and discover how they respond when circumstances become difficult.

Because life will apply pressure.

Intensity builds capacity.

The goal was not simply to compete. It was to build men who can withstand pressure, adapt, lead, and continue moving forward when life gets difficult.

MAKING TIME COUNT

Ultimately, the advantage of divine speed is not simply moving faster. It is making meaningful progress within the time God has given us. We cannot control how much time we have, but we can control what we do with it. Prepare. Learn. Pray. Build capacity. Recognize your moment. And when God opens the door, move.

This is what Hold The Line is about—building men who are prepared for their moment, strengthened through pressure, connected through brotherhood, and committed to their purpose.

Hold The Line.

Stand Firm. Lead Strong.
